 Model Matzah Bakery

Model Matzah Bakery

Get into the spirit of Passover by participating in this fun educational event.

In the new
Bris Avrohom of Fair Lawn

JEWISH EDUCATION CENTER

(40-25 Fair Lawn Ave)

The Model Matzah Bakery is an exciting, educational experience that gives each child the chance to learn about how Matzah is made, just as our ancestors did over 3,300 years ago and have continued to do every year since.

At the Model Matzah Bakery, each child will experience each step of the matzah process: from threshing the wheat, grinding it into flour, mixing the flour and water into a dough, rolling it into a circle, and finally baking the Matzahs!

The Model Matzah Bakery is designed to learn about the Matzah baking process in a fun, hands on way.
The Matzahs are intended for educational purposes only. They are NOT Kosher for Passover and should not be used for the Seder.

All children will also receive real handmade Kosher for Passover Shmura Matzah made in Israel for use at the Seder.

Admission: $10 per child
After March 24: $15 per child
Parents enter free with child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Complimentary for Partners in Pride

Hebrew School children will join the Model Matzah Bakery at no charge and will accompany their class supervised by teachers.
