Fair Lawn Jewish Day Camp An Awesome Summer Adventure Summer Day Camp for Jewish Boys and Girls Email: Office@FairLawnCamp.com Ph: 201.791.7200
Dear Friend,
We have finally received official word from the State of NJ that camps can open, and we are now able to plan with at least some degree of certainty for the upcoming summer.
Although we have already prepared and planned for opening this summer with a modified program and necessary precautions to keep camp safe, we are still waiting for confirmed state guidelines that we will be required to follow, but these guidelines have not yet been published.
We are told that these guidelines will be available to us by the end of this week, June 5.
Possible 2020 dates
The dates for camp we present below are estimates and a guess on our part, we still need to determine if camp is even possible with the finalized guidelines.
As of now our guess is that we will at best be able to open on July 13th for a 6 week program, or at least on July 27 for the 4 week second session.
Once we determine we can have camp, we will send another very short survey to get your final decision if you will attend camp for the confirmed dates. We also plan to publish as much information as we can at that time about how camp will run and the risks involved to help you make an informed decision about joining camp or not.
A thought for undecided parents
As we wait to open hopefully in Mid July, time is on our side to determine the safety of having camp. As things open up we can use this time to monitor the situation, if it continues to improve despite the reopening of the state, this further points in the direction that having camp is safe, especially with state guidelines in place. If, as we get closer to July, the situation is G-d forbid not improving, we can always cancel camp before we start.
Important communication information
Please bear with us as we continue to try to make camp happen safely for the many families and children who need it now more than ever.
We understand that reading so many emails and being on top of so much continually changing information is hard. We therefore thank you for reading our emails and being in contact with us.
We think that it's safer to take the risk of over communicating than the alternative.
Please send us an email with any questions you have, we are always happy to communicate with you and help you as best as we can.
If you missed an email, you can always see all our communications on the 2020 camp news page.
Important refund information
Please make sure to read and understand the refund option you chose, and the benefits and terms of your choice.
Please understand that regardless if camp opens or not, the refund option you chose remains in effect if you do not attend camp.
If at any point you want to change your refund option, we will try to accommodate as best as possible, just send us an email with instructions.
If you chose refund option 3 or 4 but you want to attend camp if we open, you will still have that option as per the terms of those options.
If we open and you attend, your current refund option will be canceled and we will publish a new refund policy which will include how to handle the difference between what you originally enrolled for and the week's camp is actually offered for.
